The above photos show some adorable handmade felted animals that were made using our own alpaca fiber.  These cuties are needle felted by a local artist, We Bee Felting. The art of needle felting involves working with tufts of carded wool using special barbed felting needles. These felting needles were developed to be used by the woolen mills to create felt. The process of needle felting involves poking and pressing the wool to cause matting or felting.
